Telecaster Route 66 baseball bat fat neck

CS Nocaster … Great fat U neck profile, I love this shape ! Quite 1″ at the nut and 1″ at the 12th fret … and 9.5″ radius if you are lucky or choose the right model.

But very expensive, even used !

So I decided to change my Telecaster route 66 to a nocaster-like tele (see my post about this nice telecaster I assembled a few years ago)

So, I bought an Allparts TMO Fat

Frets need to be dressed (very sharp edges), I will round the fret ends :

I will also “roll” or “round” neck edge (I should have noticed this particular point before having tinted the neck ! Anyway …).

  • Bottom : Allparts TMO-FAT neck
