Even “as is, out of the box”, it is an amazing telecaster !
I replaced the nut (Graph Tec Tusq) :
New 5 holes pickguard (original too green to my eyes )
New saddles :

How did you replace the nut without damaging the finish on the edge of the fretboard that covers the nut?
Unfortunately, I did damage a little because the nut is heavily glued by the lacker …
Anyway, I used an X-acto knife around the nut to “cut” the lacker, then sawed and filed through the old nut to remove it, and after that I cleaned the slot.
Escuse me, perhaps do you still have the “too green” 5 holes pickguard ? Thanks, Enrico
Finally, I keep it ! I let it outside for 9 months under sun, rain, snow … it’s a test of relicing it !
